VACATION AND OTHER STORIES

  • Curation:
    Tenia Menegaki
  • Opening:
    15 September 2023

A triptych that is both connected and independent. For the co-motion of togetherness. Far from being mere chance or the only way of life's journey. Every day, a little bit—steps, marks, from the depths or elsewhere, fluidity and sinking, mixed sensations, floating in water, in every shade of blue, or in the depth of a wrinkle. Rhythm and breath in a grand journey, on glaciers or within warm, strong fingers, in the weight of the mind or in the lightness of a bubble. A repetition that culminates in togetherness.

Nana Kantsa

Artist

Nana Kantsa was born in 1967. Her studies in architecture, involvement in design, and constant travel spirit have shaped her relationship with images. She chooses photography to capture, describe, interpret, and understand landscapes, objects, faces, and situations. Words/phrases accompanying her works often aim to connect the visible with the inner, invisible world of emotions.
