Fotis Sagonas is a visual artist and architect. His works have been exhibited at the Museum of the City of New York, the Venice Architecture Biennale, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, the Thessaloniki Biennale of Contemporary Art, and the Thessaloniki Center for Contemporary Art, among others. In 2012, he received the Fulbright scholarship for visual arts at the School of Visual Arts in New York, and in 2018, he was awarded the ARTWORKS grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation. Since 2018, he has been teaching visual arts, spatial representations, and design at the Department of Architecture at the University of Ioannina.
